MEG Energy Corp. (TSX:MEG). Oil and gas. Down 47 cents, or 9.96 per cent, to $4.25 on 12.7 million shares.

Encana Corp. (TSX:ECA). Oil and gas. Up 53 cents, or 9.96 per cent, to $5.85 on 12.1 million shares.

Pengrowth Energy Corp. (TSX:PGF). Oil and gas. Up one cent, or one per cent, to $1.01 on 10.8 million shares.

Bombardier Inc. (TSX:BBD.B). Aerospace, rail equipment. Unchanged at $1.06 on 9.8 million shares.

Canadian Oil Sands Ltd. (TSX:COS). Oil and gas. Up 14 cents, or 1.54 per cent, to $9.26 on 8.6 million shares.

Suncor Energy Inc. (TSX:SU). Oil and gas. Up 19 cents, or 0.58 per cent, to $33.08 on 7.3 million shares.

Companies reporting major news:

Valeant Pharmaceuticals International Inc. (TSX:VRX). Pharmaceutical. Down $15.34, or 13.97 per cent, to $94.49 on 1.4 million shares. The company says it is under investigation by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission in a previously undisclosed probe. In a brief statement Monday, the Quebec-based drugmaker confirmed it received a subpoena from the commission in the fourth quarter of 2015. The company said it would have disclosed the investigation when filing audited full-year results, but those have been delayed.
