
Police seeking owner of stolen silverware
PENTICTON – Penticton police are seeking the rightful owner of a well-worn box of silverware.
Cpl. Don Wrigglesworth says in a release that the silverware set was recovered from a stolen vehicle. Police determined the eating utensils did not belong to the vehicle owner.
Engravings on some of the pieces are marked “1-5 1862” and “1-5 1912.”
Wrigglesworth says he’ll have a few questions to ask would be owners laying claim to the silverware, “but they will be easy to answer if it is your silverware,” he says.
The owner is asked to call Cpl. Don Wrigglesworth at the Penticton detachment at 250-460-2157.
