PENTICTON – Penticton RCMP are looking for a man suspected of being involved in mailbox and laundry room break-ins.
On Monday, Feb. 6, police responded to reports of a suspicious man at an apartment building on Scott Avenue. The man accessed the building by following a resident in and when confronted by the building’s manager, ran off, dropping a piece of rebar fabricated into a break-in tool.
Cpl. Don Wrigglesworth says the man is a suspect in mailbox break-ins and theft from washing machine coin boxes.
The suspect is described as a Caucasian male with reddish hair, a large pimple on his forehead and scabs around his mouth. He was wearing an orange hoody and a dark vest.
