KAMLOOPS – A bounty of bizarre characters gathered last Thursday at the Kamloops Art Gallery's whimsical and high-stakes Art Duel.
The winner of the annual competition gets the coveted prize of display space at the gallery.
Contestants were blindfolded and given two random topics to draw on a chalkboard wall and a panel of judges scored the work.
Art Duel was hosted by Ladyfingers and Klaus, two quick-witted characters who, for good reason, had trouble adding the triple-digit scores by the judges late in the competition.
Petal to the Metal furiously drew her way to victory and was awarded space at the BMO Open Gallery to display her work.
