MONTREAL – Bombardier Transportation says the head of its Central Eastern Europe region will be leaving and his responsibilities will be split between two separate management teams.
Michael Fohrer will take responsibility for Bombardier’s locomotives and light rail vehicles segments within the CEE region while Germar Wacker will become head of the mainline and metros segment.
Bombardier’s Kassel, Mannheim, Zurich and Vienna sites will come under Fohrer and its Hennigsdorf, Bautzen, Gorlitz and Vasteras sites will come under Wacker.
They replace Dieter John, who is leaving the company at an undisclosed time. The pair will become members of Bombardier Transportation’s leadership team.
