Mission Creek Greenway Kokanee Run-Walk event coming in October

KELOWNA – Start off the month of October on the right foot by registering now for the annual ‘Mission Creek Greenway Kokanee Run-Walk’. 

The Saturday, October 18 event will help raise funds for enhancements by the Friends of Mission Creek to the popular recreational trail.

Participants will travel either the three or six-kilometre fun walk or run or take on more challenging 12 or 16 km runs along Phase 2 of the Greenway. The 12 and 16 km runs begin at 7:30 p.m. and the 6 km fun walk-run starts at 8:30 a.m. from the Environmental Education Centre for the Okanagan in Mission Creek Regional Park at Springfield and Durnin Roads.
