F-Troop: RCMP puppy names all start with sixth letter of alphabet

INNISFAIL, Alta. – Ten puppies at the RCMP dog training centre in central Alberta have their official names thanks to youngsters from across the country.

Mounties in Innisfail say they received 5,000 entries in this year’s contest to name the latest batch of potential service dogs.

All names had to start with the letter F.

The 10 winning names are: Frazer, Faro, Flixx, Felix, Force, Freya, Fantom, Finn, Francis and Flint.

The kids who picked the names will each receive a certificate, a photo of the puppy they named, a plush German shepherd toy dog and an RCMP cap.
