Second BroadwayCon promises more razzle-dazzle

NEW YORK, N.Y. – Details about the next BroadwayCon have been unveiled — and there’s a lot more razzle dazzle.

The event slated for Jan. 27-29 is moving to the cavernous Javits Center on Mahattan’s West Side and an estimated 15,000 people are expected, three times last year’s inaugural tally.

Tickets go on pre-sale to returning attendees April 8 and to the general public April 11.

Some stars to attend include Kelli O’Hara, Cynthia Nixon, Christopher Jackson, Christine Ebersole, Santino Fontana, Norm Lewis, LaChanze, Seth Rudetsky, Jonathan Groff, Celia Keenan-Bolger, Lena Hall, Laura Osnes, Alex Brightman, Marc Kudish, Geneva Carr, Kathleen Marshall and Max von Essen.

The event was conceived by Melissa Anelli and Stephanie Dornhelm, who co-founded and lead GeekyCon, and the original “Rent” star Anthony Rapp.
