Local aviation officials on Friday said that’s a 2.8 per cent increase compared with June 2017.
Domestic flights carried more than 3.8 million passengers. International carriers transported almost 324,000 passengers, and more than 95,000 people used a helicopter.
Southwest Airlines continued to be the busiest carrier at the airport, transporting more than 1.5 million passengers in June.
Of the top five airlines serving McCarran, only American Airlines saw a decrease in passengers over the year.
Data released by the Clark County Department of Aviation show more than 24.5 million passengers have used McCarran in 2018. That’s a 3.1 per cent increase over the year.
