RCMP seeks suspect after man shot and killed at Surrey, B.C. shopping complex

SURREY, B.C. – A 28-year-old man is dead after a shooting in South Surrey, B.C.

The RCMP says the shooting at a shopping complex (on 24th Ave.) may have been a targeted attack and could be tied to recent gang-affiliated shootings.

The Mounties are looking for a suspect who reportedly left the Morgan Creek Mall at about 7 p.m. in a grey or dark-coloured vehicle.

Sgt. Drew Grainger says officers found a man with several gunshot wounds to the upper body near a vehicle in front of the Steve Nash Gym.

He was pronounced dead at the scene. (News1130,CKNW)
