
Clarification: Ticks story
MARSHFIELD, Vt. – In a story June 20, The Associated Press reported that the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said there are about 30,000 reported cases of Lyme disease each year. The story should have noted that the CDC has said it believes the actual number of people diagnosed is far higher, around 300,000.
