
Penticton RCMP seeking suspects in armed robbery
PENTICTON – Penticton RCMP are on the hunt for two suspects in connection with an armed robbery on Sunday.
Cpl. Don Wrigglesworth says two men wearing bandannas robbed the Foodland corner grocery store on Westminster Avenue on Sunday, June 25.
The men wielded a hunting knife and a hatchet during the incident, getting away with cash and cigarettes. The suspects wore bandanas over their faces.
Police are looking for a rusty, red station wagon, or possibly an older Jeep Cheroke associated with the robbery.
