Bombardier Inc. (TSX:BBD.B). Aerospace, rail equipment. Up three cents, or 1.49 per cent, to $2.04 on 49.2 million shares. Bombardier says Delta Air Lines Inc. has placed a firm order for 75 CS100 aircraft with options on an additional 50 in what would be the largest order for the company’s troubled CSeries passenger jet program. Montreal-based Bombardier says based on the list price, the firm order is valued at approximately US$5.6 billion.

First Quantum Minerals Ltd. (TSX:FM). Miner. Down 16 cents, or 1.72 per cent, to $9.16 on 10.6 million shares.

Kinross Gold Corp. (TSX:K). Miner. Up 54 cents, or 9.08 per cent, to $6.49 on 10.5 million shares.

Yamana Gold Inc. (TSX:YRI). Miner. Up 27 cents, or 4.95 per cent, to $5.72 on 9.4 million shares.

B2Gold Corp. (TSX:BTO). Miner. Up three cents, or 1.17 per cent, to $2.60 on 8.9 million shares.

Teck Resources Ltd. (TSX:TCK.B). Miner. Down 23 cents, or 1.61 per cent, to $14.02 on 8.8 million shares.

Companies reporting major news:

BCE Inc. (TSX:BCE). Media. Up 63 cents, or 1.08 per cent, to $58.83 on 1.4 million shares. BCE Inc. reported a more than 30 per cent jump in its first-quarter profit compared with a year ago. The telecommunications company said it earned $707 million or 82 cents per share for its first quarter, up from $532 million or 63 cents per share a year ago.
