KELOWNA – A Kelowna man, 47, was shot in the leg and taken to hospital Wedesday night.
Police responded to the report of a shooting in the 1900 block of Burtch Road in Kelowna at about 5:45 p.m. Sept. 11. When Mounties arrived, the found the man was suffering from a gunshot wound though the injury appeared to be non-life-threatening. He was taken to hospital for treatment.
"There is no threat to members of the general public," Const. Kris Clark stated in a press release.
The investigation is ongoing and no charges have been laid.
