iNFOnews.ca contest winner says new bike came at just the right time

VERNON – The timing couldn’t have been better for the winner of iNFOnews.ca’s IPE bicycle giveaway.

Claudia Dranchuk, of Coldstream, won the CCM Trailhead Mountain bike by liking the iNFOnews.ca Vernon Facebook page.

“My husband and I were biking last week in Jasper and he was inquiring about what bike to buy,” Dranchuk says, explaining her husband was in need of a new set of wheels. “We got home and the email was there.”

She says it’s the first contest she’s won in a long time and was pleasantly surprised.

She and her husband are looking forward to biking together on the new Okanagan Rail Trail, which starts in Coldstream and follows the shoreline of Kalamalka Lake.

“The bike will definitely be used,” Dranchuk says.

Dranchuk is an iNFOnews.ca reader and enjoys getting articles via the Facebook page.

“It brings you up to date,” she says.
