KAMLOOPS – RCMP are organizing a search for a Williams Lake man who went missing in Kamloops this summer while he was a wildfire evacuee.
David Michael Jeff, 67, has been missing since Aug. 4. He had been evacuated from Williams Lake due to the wildfires.
Kamloops RCMP are holding a scheduled search on Monday, Oct. 23, according to a media release.
The event on Monday starts at 8 a.m. at Moccasin Square Gardens on Chief Alex Thomas Way with a water ceremony. A three-hour search will begin at 1 p.m. followed by a debrief and a feast.
