$1.4M worth of cocaine seized from Puerto Rico ferry

SAN JUAN, Puerto Rico – The U.S. Coast Guard says it has seized roughly $1.4 million worth of cocaine aboard a ferry in Puerto Rico.

Officials said they found 125 pounds (57 kilograms) of cocaine Friday morning inside two suitcases after searching the Isleno ferry in the northeast town of Fajardo.

The ferry had arrived from the neighbouring island of Vieques.
