Mission Dog Park to close briefly for upgrades

The dog park at Mission Recreation Park will soon be a bit brighter.

The Mission Dog Park will undergo upgrades starting next week. The work will include new lighting, which will come on automatically after dusk and before dawn during regular park hours. Upgrades also include trail and drainage work and new gates.

To accommodate the work, the off-leash dog park will be closed Tuesday, Nov. 14 to Friday, Nov. 17. Additional work can take place while the park is open at a later date. During the closure, park users can use the Parks & Beaches Map at kelowna.ca/parks to search for alternate off-leash dog parks.
