Looking for a forever home; Vernon SPCA pet of the week

VERNON – Bear is hoping to find a new home in the Okanagan after being transferred to the Vernon SPCA.

Bear is described by the people at the Vernon shelter as "very friendly with people, kids, other dogs and even most cats."

They say he is a sweet five-year-old black Lab looking for an active family with the time to help him with his manners because he can be possessive over toys, food and even some people.

Bear's ideal home would be structured with a consistent handler.

If you are someone that likes to go for long walks, hike and be outdoors, Bear would be an excellent companion.

If you would like to learn more about Bear he can be found online here using his animal identification number 449633.
