Lena Headey narrating audiobook of jazz memoir ‘Low Down’

NEW YORK, N.Y. – Lena Headey is not only appearing in the upcoming film version of “Low Down,” she’s narrating the audiobook.

The audio edition of A.J. Albany’s memoir was released Tuesday by Simon & Schuster. First published in 2003, Albany’s book tells the story of being the daughter of jazz pianist Joe Albany. In the movie adaptation, scheduled to come out next year, Elle Fanning stars as Amy “A.J.” Albany and Headey as A.J.’s mother, Sheila. John Hawkes plays Joe Albany.

The 40-year-old Headey is best known for her starring role in HBO’s “Game of Thrones.” Her movie credits include “300” and “The Brothers Grimm.”
