OTTAWA — In a story published Dec. 7 about a class-action lawsuit launched by Canadian beekeepers, The Canadian Press erroneously reported that Steve Moore, president of the Ontario Beekeepers’ Association, said his group worries about the risks of accidentally bringing in antibiotic-resistant mites with bee imports. In fact, Moore was speaking about antibiotic-resistant bacteria and chemical-resistant mites.
