Looking for a forever home; Vernon SPCA pet of the week

VERNON -Meet Rex.

This Dogo Argentino is nervous at first with strangers and is selective of canine friends.

Rex lives at the Vernon SPCA and is looking for an experience guardian who is familiar with this type of breed.

He lived with a cat before but tends to chase cats he doesn’t know according to a media release.

Rex knows how to sit, stay and come, but will need further training walking on a leash as he likes to pull quite hard.

Once he feels safe, he is a very affectionate dog.

For more information about Spicoli contact the staff at the Vernon SPCA. His animal ID number is 457938.

Visit the shelter's webpage for more information such as location, adoption fees and hours of operation.
