Jane Lynch returns for second season as host of NBC’s ‘Hollywood Game Night’

PASADENA, Calif. – Jane Lynch says her hosting duties on “Hollywood Game Night” are an extension of the bashes she tosses at home.

The “Glee” star says she loves creating and hosting a space for her friends to have fun.

Lynch returns for the NBC show’s second season on Monday night, with back-to-back episodes that include celebrities Rosie O’Donnell, Alyssa Milano and Mario Lopez. Fifteen new games will be played, along with some holdovers from last season.

Sean Hayes (“Will and Grace”) came up with the show’s premise based on the game nights he hosts at home. He says celebs are now calling up the producers asking to be on the show, which features two contestants on teams with celebrities playing games for the chance to win $25,000.
