Man faces charges of being disruptive on Vancouver bound flight

RICHMOND, B.C. – Richmond RCMP have a man in custody who is accused of becoming violent on an international flight.

Vancouver International Airport staff alerted police a man was acting violently on a flight arriving at the airport this morning.

RCMP have taken him into custody and say assault charges are pending.

The man is due to appear in court tomorrow.

The man’s name has not been released and it’s unknown where he’s from or why he was travelling to Canada.

Police did release any information on which airline was involved.
