TORONTO – Dean Brody and Brett Kissel are the leading nominees for this year’s Canadian Country Music Association Awards.
Both have five nominations going into the show, which will be held on Sept. 11.
Each is up for trophies including fans’ choice, male artist of the year and single of the year.
Next with four nominations apiece are Gord Bamford, Johnny Reid, Dallas Smith and the Washboard Union.
Holding three nominees each are Cold Creek County, Jess Moskaluke and Bobby Wills.
TV personality Jessi Cruickshank will host the show, which will air on CBC.
