SUMMERLAND – The District of Summerland has issued evacuation orders and alerts for dozens of properties in the Garnet Valley Road area.

An evacuation order was put in place at 4:15 p.m. for all properties along Garnet Valley Road north of, and including, Wildhorse Road. 

An evacuation alert was issued at 6:30 p.m. for properties along Garnet Valley Road between Jones Flat Road and Wildhorse Road.
