IN PICTURES: Search for brains at the Kamloops Zombie Walk

KAMLOOPS – The zombie fans in Kamloops were well ahead of the curve.

They held their first Zombie Walk 8 years ago, before shows like The Walk Dead sent the re-animated corpses stumbling into mainstream popular culture.

Saturday’s 8th annual Kamloops Zombie Walk attracted nearly 60 people in full make-up and many more people wanting to watch the undead take over downtown.

The walk started at Pandora’s Costume Box on Victoria Street. They dragged themselves around for over an hour in the hunt for brains and other human flesh and a quick performance of Michael Jackson's Thriller.

According to the official Faceook page, there are only two rules for a zombie walk:

1) Look like a zombie
2) Act like a zombie and don’t stop for any reason.

I guess that’s three rules, but hey, who’s going to argue with a bunch of zombies.
