Donna Tartt’s ‘The Goldfinch’ wins Pulitzer Prize for fiction

NEW YORK, N.Y. – Donna Tartt’s “The Goldfinch” has won the Pulitzer Prize for fiction.

The history award was given to Alan Taylor’s “The Internal Enemy,” and general nonfiction Monday went to Dan Fagin’s “Toms River.”

Megan Marshall’s “Margaret Fuller” won for biography and Vijay Seshadri’s “3 Sections” received the poetry prize.
