Lee Boudreaux, editor of Curtis Sittenfeld and Jennifer Senior, getting her own imprint

NEW YORK, N.Y. – Lee Boudreaux, a top literary editor who has worked with Curtis Sittenfeld, Ben Fountain and numerous other authors, is switching publishers and getting her own imprint.

Little, Brown and Company announced Tuesday that Boudreaux will officially begin her new job on Sept. 2, overseeing an imprint expected to publish eight to 10 books a year.

Boudreaux had spent the past nine years as editorial director of the HarperCollins imprint Ecco. Before that, she worked for almost a decade at Random House.

Notable books she has edited include Sittenfeld’s bestselling “Prep”; Fountain’s “Billy Lynn’s Long Halftime Walk,” a National Book Award finalist in 2012; and Jennifer Senior’s highly-regarded “All Joy and No Fun.”

In a statement issued through Little, Brown, Boudreaux says she looked forward to publishing “electrifying and unexpected voices.”
