TORONTO – Winnipeg quarterback Chris Streveler, Montreal Alouettes defensive lineman John Bowman and Blue Bombers defensive lineman Willie Jefferson are the CFL’s top performers for Week 13.
Streveler, filling in for the injured Matt Nichols, led the Blue Bombers to a 35-10 win over the visiting Saskatchewan Roughriders in the annual Banjo Bowl.
He threw for two touchdowns and ran for two more in the victory.
Bowman had five tackles, including two sacks, and forced a fumble as the Als beat the visiting B.C. Lions 21-16.
Bowman now has 130 career sacks, seventh on the CFL’s all-time list.
Jefferson had three tackles, including two sacks, and forced a fumble to help Winnipeg’s defence hold Saskatchewan to a season-low 10 points.
Jefferson is second in the CFL with 11 sacks this season.
