OKANAGAN – In spite of the rain this morning, umbrellas and raincoats shouldn't be necessary in the Okanagan for Halloween this evening.
“It’s looking good. The rain we are seeing this morning is expected to taper off early this afternoon," Environment Canada meteorologist Matt MacDonald says.
MacDonald says the front moving through the valley this morning, Oct. 31, is pushing east at a good pace and there is a good clearing trend in behind it.
Conditions are expected to be similar throughout the Okanagan, with Vernon, Kelowna and Penticton looking at cloudy skies this evening and temperatures around 8 C.
