MINSK, Belarus – Canada is making an early exit at the world hockey championship.
Iiro Pakarinen scored the winning goal late in the third period as Finland beat Canada 3-2 in today’s quarter-final at Chizhovka Arena.
Mark Scheifele and Kyle Turris had the Canada goals.
Russia and the Czech Republic won earlier in the day to advance to the semifinals.
