Prime Minister Justin Trudeau coming to Kamloops

KAMLOOPS – Prime Minister Justin Trudeau will be in Kamloops next week for a Liberal party fundraiser.

With a federal election scheduled for later this year, Trudeau will be making an appearance in the tournament capital on Wednesday, Jan. 9 at the Coast Kamloops Hotel and Conference Centre.

According to the Liberal Party of Canada's website, Trudeau is set to speak at the fundraiser which is geared towards gaining support for the federal election on Oct. 21, 2019.

"This event is an exciting opportunity to hear from Justin Trudeau and to show your support as we prepare to elect even more Liberal MPs from British Columbia in 2019," the website states.
