‘Field of Dreams’ celebrates 25th anniversary at Iowa movie site
DYERSVILLE, Iowa – The Iowa farm where the baseball film “Field of Dreams” was filmed is hosting a 25th anniversary celebration this weekend.
Stars such as Kevin Costner and Timothy Busfield joined thousands of people from all over the Midwest at the remote locale.
Fans were treated to a viewing of the movie in the outfield on Friday night and parents were allowed to play catch with their children in the grass on Saturday.
Costner, who played Iowa farmer Ray Kinsella in the film, says the movie remains a “high mark” in his career.
