CHICAGO – The Chicago Blackhawks have agreed to terms with forwards Jonathan Toews and Patrick Kane on eight-year contract extensions.
The deals run through the 2022-’23 NHL season.
The team says a formal news conference will be held next week at the United Center.
Toews has served as captain of the Blackhawks for the last six years while Kane is a three-time all-star.
Both players helped Chicago to Stanley Cup victories in 2010 and 2013.
The Blackhawks did not release financial terms of the extensions.
