Police say 4 killed in crash involving motorhome near Jasper from Germany, China

JASPER, Alta. – Police say a woman from Germany and a family from China died in a crash involving a motorhome and a car south of Jasper National Park.

The crash happened Wednesday about 25 kilometres on Highway 93.

The woman, who was 79, was in the motorhome.

Her husband suffered serious injuries and was taken by air ambulance to an Edmonton hospital.

A 47-year-old man, his 42-year-old wife and their 15-year-old son, were in the car.

Mounties say all were vacationing in Canada.

No names have been released and police say they are still investigating.
