Kraft, Belichick interviewed by police probing Hernandez involvement in Lloyd slaying

FALL RIVER, Mass. – New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft and coach Bill Belichick were interviewed by police investigating a homicide in which former player Aaron Hernandez has been charged.

According to court documents, Kraft and Belichick were interviewed last August during the investigation into the shooting of Odin Lloyd, whose body was found not far from Hernandez’s North Attleborough home.

The discovery documents in the Lloyd case indicated the interviews with Kraft and Belichick each ran four pages.

The evidence also includes 33 pages of text messages between Belichick and Hernandez in 2013.

In addition, the evidence contains a three-page statement from Belichick and a one-page statement from Kraft.

The contents of the interviews and statements were not disclosed. A Patriots spokesman had no comment.

Hernandez has pleaded not guilty in Lloyd’s slaying.
