KAMLOOPS – A Kamloops man, 36, may have produced a gun while demanding money during an altercation that took place in the 500 block of Columbia Street West today.
Police received a report of a robbery at about 12:30 p.m. When they arrived on scene the two victims told them a man who is known to them was at their unit demanding money. During the altercation, they allege he produced a handgun.
When one victim started making a phone call the suspect fled the scene.
Police have since identified the suspect and he was arrested without incident on Ord Road.
The investigation continues.
