5-year-old ‘apparently’ an Internet sensation after TV interview at Pennsylvania county fair

HONESDALE, Pa. – A 5-year-old boy’s lively TV interview at a Pennsylvania county fair, punctuated by his frequent use of the word “apparently,” has turned him into an Internet sensation.

Noah Ritter grabbed the microphone from a WNEP-TV reporter interviewing him at the Wayne County Fair and delivered an entertaining monologue in which he used “apparently” seven times in less than a minute.

Confessing he’d never been on live TV, Noah said, “I don’t watch the news, because I’m a kid. … Apparently grandpa just gives me the remote after we watch the Powerball.”

He went on to say that one ride scared him “half to death” and made him “freak out.”

A video (http://bit.ly/1qQIOIH) of Friday’s interview has been viewed nearly 3 million times on YouTube through Wednesday morning, and he’s been making the rounds of network news shows.
