iN VIDEO: Alberta gets pummeled with snow
ALBERTA – If you thought the snow was bad in Kamloops yesterday, check out what happened in Alberta.
On April 26, Environment Canada issued a snowfall alert for the Trans Canada Highway from Eagle Pass to Rogers Pass. On April 27, parts of Kamloops, Merritt, and Coldstream woke up to a fair amount of spring snow.
But they got off easy compared to parts of Alberta, which got wallopped with mounds of snow, as the social media posts below prove.
According to Environment Canada, Kamloops can expect a warmer day on April 28, with a mainly sunny outlook and a high of 14 C. The rest of the Okanagan can expect similar sunny weather, with Kelowna and Vernon reaching highs of 13 C and Penticton topping off at 14 C.
