KELOWNA – Pack your umbrella, there's a good chance you'll use it today.
Environment Canada is forecasting rain showers throughout the Okanagan Valley and in both Kelowna and Vernon that comes along with a risk of a thunderstorm later in the afternoon but not for Penticton.
Across the Okanagan, temperatures will definitely be more brisk as the weather takes a turn.
The average high temperature today is 13 C and the overnight low is expected to be 4 C.
The good news is that it's still the work week and conditions are looking up for Saturday. The national weather agency is currently saying it will be a sunny day with a high of 20 C.
Also, for days like these, there are loads of cat videos to take the sting out of the day.
