PENTICTON – Legendary rapper Gucci Mane is postponing his Penticton appearance.

An agency working with Gucci Mane’s promoter says the “Live in Canada” tour dates have been postponed, according a South Okanagan Events Centre media release issued today, May 22. 

The Atlanta-based rapper and hip hop artist was scheduled to perform in Penticton on Tuesday, May 28.

Mane’s agency is currently looking at new tour dates sometime between Sept. 3 and Sept. 15. More information will be provided as it becomes available.

Ticket refunds for the Gucci Mane concert in Penticton will be refunded by the following methods:

  • Credit card purchasers will have the ticket price and the per-ticket fee automatically reversed beginning May 23. Ticket refunds can take between five to 10 days to post. Contact the Valley First box office at the events centre if a credit card refund has not occurred by June 6.
  • Customers who bought their tickets with cash or a debit card at the Valley First box office can return to the box office for a refund no sooner than May 23 at 10 a.m.
  • Only the purchaser of the tickets, with valid photo identification may receive the refund.

Questions regarding refunds should be directed to the Valley First box office at calling 250-276-2144, or emailing soec.boxoffice@penticton.ca.

I have been looking for news in the South Okanagan - SImilkameen for 20 years, having turned a part time lifelong interest into a full time profession. After five years publishing a local newsletter, several years working as a correspondent / stringer for several local newspapers and seven years as editor of a Similkameen weekly newspaper, I joined iNFOnews.ca in 2014. My goal in the news industry has always been to deliver accurate and interesting articles about local people and places. My interest in the profession is life long - from my earliest memories of grade school, I have enjoyed writing.
As an airborne geophysical surveyor I travelled extensively around the globe, conducting helicopter borne mineral surveys.
I also spent several years at an Okanagan Falls based lumber mill, producing glued-wood laminated products.
As a member of the Kaleden community, I have been involved in the Kaleden Volunteer Fire Department for 22 years, and also serve as a trustee on the Kaleden Irrigation District board.
I am currently married to my wife Judy, of 26 years. We are empty-nesters who enjoy living in Kaleden with our Welsh Terrier, Angus, and cat, Tibbs.
Our two daughters, Meagan and Hayley, reside in Richmond and Victoria, respectively.
