RCMP are searching for the owner of a watch that was turned into the Kamloops detachment in the fall.
The silver Guess brand men's watch was found in the Jamieson Creek area in September and was turned into police by a Kamloops resident.
The owner of the watch will know specific personal engravings characteristic to the back of this watch. The inscription references a father to whom the watch was given.
RCMP are hoping to find the owner before they are required to put it up for disposition by way of public auction.
Anyone claiming ownership must provide RCMP with the watch's inscription.
