Kamloops RCMP release map of thefts from vehicles across the city

KAMLOOPS – Kamloops RCMP say they continue to receive calls regarding thefts from vehicles in every neighbourhood throughout the city.

Just last week there was 58 thefts from motor vehicles.

To remind the public thefts can occur anywhere, police will be releasing weekly maps to show where these thefts occur, according to a RCMP release issues today, Jul. 9.

"These maps are not just a reminder to motorists to lock their vehicles, but also to all citizens to remind them that if they see suspicious behaviour in their neighbourhood to call the police," Kamloops RCMP spokesperson Cpl. Jodi Shelkie says in a release.

If you see suspicious behaviour in your neighbourhood call the Kamloops RCMP at 250-828-3000.
