Police warn of violent inmate who escaped work crew in northern B.C.

PRINCE GEORGE, B.C. – A violent inmate with a history of property and weapons offences has escaped from a work crew in Prince George, B.C.

RCMP Cpl. Craig Douglass says police are using an aircraft to search for 38-year-old Randy Henricks.

The Saskatchewan man was wearing a yellow slicker coat, a white thermal undershirt and orange pants when he ran from his work crew just before noon on Friday.

Henricks has tattoos of a swastika and an iron cross on his right forearm.

Douglass says police do not believe the man has any family in the northern B.C. city.
