Mississippi woman dies after being set on fire, found near burning car

COURTLAND, Miss. – Panola County authorities say a 19-year-old woman died after she was doused with a flammable liquid and set on fire.

Deputies tell WMC TV (http://bit.ly/1G8Y8at) that officers responded to a burning car Saturday night and found Jessica Chambers near the vehicle. She was taken to a Memphis, Tennessee, hospital, where she later died.

Officials say Chambers father worked for the sheriff’s department in the maintenance department.

Deputies say they no motive or suspects in the death.
