KELOWNA – The cold weather didn’t deter the Kelowna Chiefs from helping out at the Uptown Rutland’s Christmas Light Up.
The event took place at Roxby Park from 4 – 6 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 8.
The guys welcomed and escorted Santa plus pulled out the street hockey gear and challenged kids in attendance to a game of shinny.
The Grinch also made an appearance at the Light Up, looking to steal Santa’s bag of toys.
When the Grinch swooped in to grab Santa’s sack Captain Jordan Salahor sprang into action, stopping the Grinch and his evil plan, saving Christmas.
The Kelowna Chiefs would like to thank Uptown Rutland for having us out!
