QMJHL roundup: Islanders rout Eagles, Sea Dogs top Titan
SYDNEY, N.S. – Patrick Guay scored twice and the Charlottetown Islanders trounced the Cape Breton Eagles 7-2 in Quebec Major Junior Hockey League action on Wednesday.
The Islanders (4-4-0) jumped out to a 7-0 lead before the Eagles (2-3-4) finally got on the board 9:48 into the third period.
Patrick LeBlanc, Drew Elliott, Michael Horth, Sam Oliver and Ben Boyd all scored for Charlottetown.
Ivan Ivan and Cam Squires replied for Cape Breton.

SAINT JOHN, N.B. — A back-and-forth affair ended with Brady Burns scoring for Saint John (3-3-2) 3:22 into the third period. Liam Kidney scored twice for Acadie-Bathurst (6-1-1), who suffered their first regulation loss of the season.
