After spending Thanksgiving with her family in Ashcroft, Green Party leader Elizabeth May will make a party announcement in Kamloops.
May, joined by husband and Mission-Matsqui-Fraser Canyon Green Party candidate and finance critic John Kidder and Kamloops-Thompson-Cariboo candidate Iain Currie, will make the announcement on the party's plans to "restore fairness to the taxation system" at Currie's campaign office at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 15.
With only one week before the federal election, May will canvas on Victoria Street with Kidder and Currie at 2:15 p.m. after a rally with Currie's supporters at the campaign office at 2 p.m.
May will end the Kamloops stop by meeting the T'Kemlups Chief and Council at 3:15 p.m.
