Blaze destroys camper in vacant lot

PENTICTON – An early Sunday morning fire destroyed a camper in Penticton.

The camper was parked in a vacant not on the north end of Rene Street.

It’s not believed anyone was staying in the camper.

One side of a storage shed was blackened by the blaze, a nearby wooden fence was damaged and several small trees burned.

No word yet on the cause of the fire.
